i need your help urgently, somehow someone in the office downloaded t programme called "tonethis" and we can not get rid of it! even deleted it out of the registry, uninstalled it, rebooted and it is still on the screen, it wont close no matter what i do!

please have you any idea?

how do i do a system restore?? they downloaded it this mrning apparently... they said a few days ago, but seems like it was this morning! do i backup everything first then do it? how do i restore and how long does it take?

okay i cant do restore because my comp doesnt have that option, i get as far as accessories and thats it!

go to download.com. get spyware doctor, spyware blaster, spybot, ad-aware, avg, ccleaner and update all. immunize. enable all protections. update wkly. run wkly.

If you know when this person downloaded this program. Try doing a system restore. That way you could go back in time and rerstore your computer to a day or a couple fo hours before the program was downloaded. Hope this works for you.

Can you not roll the system back to an earlier date using Windows System Restore:

tonethis can be downloaded free from Cnet.com. It allegedly converts MP3 files to ring tones. I saw no specific information on uninstalling. If all else fails, fire the person who did it and reimage the machine.
