I'm only going to list national chains:

1) Ryan's (buffet eatery - awesome deal for the $$$ - even serve steaks as part of buffet)
2) Golden Corral (buffet eatery similar to Ryan's)
3) IHOP (great for the many who love breakfast any time of day)
4) O' Charley's
5) Longhorn's (great steak for the $$$, meal servings are hearty, desserts are huuuuge.)
6) Applebee's
7) Ruby Tuesday's (salad bar is the joint)
8) Chili's
9) Friday's
10) Olive Garden

You didn't give a location. I can suggest some commercial places but the best places are usually not chain restaurants.

Mortons Steak House

Any of Wolfgang's places
he is a great chef so they should all be good

Depends on where you live! Check out citysearch.com or digitalcity.com for some ratings and suggestions.

Also, try your local library for dining guides like Zagats.
