I have hard clay soil in which I have some answers to help it become better soil but, the next questions is:
Which seed of mix of seeds will work the best for the long run. I live in the northern part of Connecticut. Thanks for your help

i would go with a mixture of Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass both are very hardy for your area and climates

We have the clay soil here also. Most people use a fine grain fescue. Something like Falcon, or Rebel. I prefer bluegrass myself but it is a little more termpermental than the fescue. It is also susceptible to drought and that will kill it off. It does look good though.
