Have you ever seen a dress jacket with pleats in the back or sides. Those are vents.
Some Suits are made that way and are usually a few bucks more. But if you can find a good tailor, he/she could vent the sides in most jackets very easily.

"Vent"(s) in suit means there is/are a "cut(s)", or a "slit(s)" on sides or back at the bottom of the jacket.
