My fiance and I holding our son as he passed away 2 days from being 8 weeks old. We prayed for a miracle the 9 days he was in the hospital, and we got one after he was baptized. We were hoping that somehow he would miraculously be better, even though the dr's said he would only be able to live off the respirator and feeding tube for up to several days and it would be difficult. After the baptism, we took him off the machines, and the miracle? He quietly passed away an hour later, without struggling or signs of suffering. Just a peaceful sleep until he left with the Angels to his Home in Heaven. Even though we will miss him until we meet again, we know that we did the right thing because of how quickly and peacefully he went. You can read more at the link below...

I will never forget when I lost my three best friends. I was in 6th grade and it was towards the end of the year. I had been writing some crap about one of my best friends to another best friend. I was writing it because I was extremely jealous of what she had (Every thing for her was perfect, good family, popular, pretty). She found out... I felt so bad and sick. I had a big talk with all of them and just felt like $hit. I have now been accepted by them again. We are now friends again. It is a little tense but at least we are not mad at each other. I still feel bad for what I did but I am happy to know that they forgave me.

The day my preemie granddaughter was born. She was so tiny and was born in a hospital that had no NICU. They had to fly a team in from another hospital just to stabilize her so they could put her on a helicopter and take her to another city.

That was three years ago and I have had her since she came home from the hospital. You would never know it by looking at her now but I was so afraid she wasn't going to make it.

The feeling of horror when my 8 year old daughter got hit by a 15 foot steel pole in an amusement park that put her in the ICU and not knowing if she was going to make it or not.
