Relalizing that the human condition is quite impossible, that life is a screwed up pandora's box, a paradox, very complicateed neverending, and to even begin to understand it you need to adopt a truly intellectual approach, or do what the rest do, drink, do drugs, and numb it all, and be mediocre.

Realization of this, helps me cope because it makes me just not care about anything at all. I can still do what I want and be productive without getting sucked into this world and all of its problems, as there are plenty and plenty.

Religious people trying to convert you, economic pressures, relationship pressures, everything you can think of.

By realizing that this world more resembles a weird strange type of hell, rather than anything remotely holy, divine or good, or caring, I adopt a , whatever f the world attitude. Even if it's negative, which seems to be taboo in society, it works because others sense that you don't care, and it actually gives you a power.

If you have personal problems, realize that it's expected, normal, and happens simply because you LIVE in this crazy world.

It's not you.

You're actually most likely quite an amazing person, like many humans, who is just trying to lead life, but have to deal with everything from doubts, problems, issues, etc, that this world and its people throw on you.

I know this isn't a popular answer or one that will get ANY positive thumbs up, I expect that, b/c my answer is "taboo", and things that are taboo are wrongggggg bad yadda yadda, f u all (sorry to be crude), but it works.

Believe me, no matter how positive you try to be or smile or get through life trying that approach, ultimately you're going to realize just how...for lack of better words, screwed up this world really is, and how it will NEVER get better, because for as long as humans roam the world ,their own complex natures will continue to screw it up.

You can change species, but that's impossible.

Till then, drugs, what i said above, and you can TRY therapy, but take it from me , who tried it 100000 times, they give you a very high school approach and tell you everything you already learned in 8th grade health class.

This world is f*Cked up. I'm sorry you're going through problems. We all are believe me. IN some way or another. Even happy successful rich people have bills, relationship problems, even if bills arent the problem they get health problems and other sorts of ailments.

It's neverending. Sad.

Like I said, weird type of hell.

But most don't agree to that.

SO whatever.

If you don't like my answer, try their approach.

But I'll assure you, ultimately it wont work.

it depends on the problem at hand.. if i think the problem is quite resolvable, i try (as much as possible) to face it head on rather than run away from it. i believe it is the most effective way of dealing with problems in order to avoid further build up (ex. disagreement with loved ones or friends). I talk to the person/people involved so that i can get their point/i\opinion. together we try to understand each others perspective so that we can arrive at a certain solution.
in some cases i have to engage in defense mechanisms (as freud put it) because the problem may seem too big for me to resolve or the source of problem is someone i don't have the guts to confront. more often than not i engage in repression (a form of defense mechanism wherein the person tries to forget a problem/situation intentionally) or displacement (venting anger on someone or something less harmful). however these are methods/ways that are not psychologically healthy. i also try to write my problem in my diary. in there i describe the situation and how the problem came about and i also say everything i would like to say to the person-its an effective way for me because after that my anger mellows down. it also allows me to examine the problem closely to see whether i am in the right position to get angry.

Well I think over what is bothering me,then I try to find out how it makes me feel....then I try to think of all possible solutions no matter how they sound and finally I try to eliminate some and choose the good one.Unfortunately, then the problem is too emotional it is difficult for me to do it because the emotions make my mind not that clear

talk about them with those you trust, sleep, lay on the couch and eat junk food, sleep some more, read (that helps to keep your mind of your problems), watch tv, exercise, play music, listen to the radio, and draw some pictures. if you're a musical or artistic person, try to get your feelings on paper in the form of poems, songs, etc.

god bless!

Calming myself down, enumerating each thing that I deem to be a problem, and trying to figure out possible solutions and tactics to solve each.

I talk about them, cry, bang my head against the wall. If that doesn't help, I just take a nap. Nothing stays the same, and those too will pass.....

Friends, counseling, exercise, meditation, family, religion, hobbies. Just don't start drinking. Trust me, it doesn't work as well as the multitude of people doing it would imply.
