Doesn't sound like you will get into college and you're not having fun anymore so if it was me i would quit.Heck with what they think. If somehow you could get some college money i would stick with it as it's really a job.

Are you ever going to play professional football? It really sounds like you want to quit. Screw everyone else, it is your life. This isn't a decision that will completely mess you up in the long run, unless you were planning on getting scholarships for football.
If you are just quitting because of your girl and your family, but not because you really want to, then maybe you should talk to them about the added stress and let them know you need a break. Maybe you can go somewhere on a Sunday and be alone for a while to work it out. Good luck.

like many have said already... stick it out. If you want to do better then put in the extra time. I speak from experience . I didnt finish up playing for my high school and I look back on it now. I never look back on my high school sweet heart now... nor do I really look back on any of my teammates. But I do wish I could go back and finish my season though.

If you buckle under pressure so young, you'll never forgive yourself for it when you grow up.
Stick with it, play hard, find a way to make it work. Don't make excuses for yourself, football's all about being determined and tough, and if you're willing to make it work, you'll find a way.
