follow the link and tell me if you think the blazer's fans, staff and players should be worried. Because as a diehard blazers fan i have to admit this is a little scary.

This could be the beginning of a major headache for Blazer fans. It's bad enough that Portland passed up on Michael Jordan 2 decades ago and took a busted center in Sam Bowie but if history repeats itself with the Oden vs. Durant dilemma, you might as well reconsider how badly cursed this Blazer organization really is.

Why when he's not even the best center on the team? Oden should be the backup good job by the Blazers by picking up a slow footed big man who's already shown he's injury proned. When Aldridge has more speed, more defensive ability, better footwork, oh and can hit a free throw. Oden will be up there as one of the worst number one picks in the history of the NBA!

With the Blazers touted rookie out on the sidelines, The Blazers loose much of their inside depth especially since they have disposed of Randolph to the Knicks. They loose a post threat which would mean tougher assignments for the shooters to fight their way for a great view.

Most depressing is the rehabilitation part where Oden would have to be out for a lot of games. This may cause a lot of damage on the Blazers play-off hopes in whole. Let's just hope that Oden's Arthroscopic Knee Surgery works out well and that his game won't be affected by the surgery.

No cause anybody who knows anything about basketball already is fully aware that one thing and one thing only can save Blazers from another horrible season.
And that my friend.. is Jesus

Furthermore... Brandon Roy is the future for the Blazers.. not Oden.. Oden will be good... but Roy is going to be the go to guy in the clutch...

What? Oh no! Of course you guys should be worried. No one goes under the knife just for the hell of it. It's something if they got to cut you. I smell denial in u Blazer fans! Now u guys are saying Oden is not the man and u guys are banking on Roy? Yeah whatever. I smell denial. No i take that back. I smell duck. As in Duckworth!

Well, with the Blazers having their #1 rookie of the season, they have to start forming a new strategy, in case Oden is out for some of the season.

It's a concern but look on the bright side-Tim Duncan had a meniscus (cartilege) tear in 2000 (that's why no repeat) and went on to win 3 more championships and 2 regular season MVPs. So hope for the best--it may turn out okay.

I feel your pain, brother! As a fellow Blazermaniac, this is seriously distrubing. I mean...I was expecting some health issues, but not this many, this soon! Noooooooooooo!

oh..and...

GO BLAZERS!

(maybe we'll get number one again next year?)

Damn, not good news at all. I would be extremely worried. He seems to be rather injury prone which would make me worry but even worse is that he is so young and could potentially have an injury that could stay with him forever.

When you get up there in age, things like this happen. It's sad to say but for a 40 year old man, this is a common thing.... :-)
