I am taking some hard courses this year such as physics and pre-calc. With my GPA I just might just make the cut into Northeastern University, MA or another college around the same academic level. I want to know whether dropping Spanish in my Senior year will have any impact on me getting into college or decrease my chances in any way. I was thinking instead of taking Spanish, I should take a class that has to do with my future major, psychology.

I think that as long as you replace it with a meaningful class (such as psychology, and not, say, a study hall), you should be fine. One thing you DON'T want to do is wait. It looks bad if a course that you've dropped shows up on your transcript--so best to drop it now.

Additionally, don't feel you HAVE to take a psychology course to major in psychology.

Good luck.

If you don't intend to continue with Spanish, don't bother taking Spanish. It won't be your deciding factor. In fact, it probably won't be any factor. Take a subject that legitimately interests you.
