i thought her little appearance on the show was lame.
nice job reading the teleprompter...
it was not funny at all.
basically i wasn't expecting the VMAs to be very good, chris brown's performance was great.
and the rest of the show sucked.
were rihanna, justin timberlake, amy winehouse, kayne west, and, fall out boy the only artists that were nominated? i kept seeing them over and over again in all the catagroies. not a great selection.
so what were your opinions on it?

Okay so was the entire thing that she read supposed to be confusing? I mean I know the last part of it was like her imitating her now famous pageant response but I couldn't understand a word of what she was reading before that. I've come to the conclusion that she just can't read. She's one of those people who doesn't know that you're supposed to pause when there is a comma and a period. Not three times for no .......reason in the..................... middle of................every............... sentence "such as".
The show was terrible and disconnected. I wanted to see some damn performances but all they did was show 30 second clips of performances in cramped hotel rooms. There weren't enough fans in the main room. You could hear crickets chirping. Oh and you know Amy Winehouse and fall out boy are going to disappear within the next year. That's what happens to half the people mtv overhypes.

The VMA's were just another way of watching the continuation of the dumbing down of America. Congratulations, MTV, on another worthless 2 hours of television. From opening to close I simply wanted to take an axe to my head for trying to be patient and wait for the good in any of it. Didn't happen. We are pawns in a Corporate game of money making. I will not we wasting my time on this next year. I guess the final demographic for MTV is 15 year olds who actually thought this show will be a memorable one - to cherish the rest of their lives.

the vma's weren't good at all this year.... or last year either.. they have been going downhill for a while now...
and that miss teen whoever was SO lame oh my god!! she was like straight up a dumb a$$ blonde and made NO sense at all!! i hope her parents are proud of what they have put out into the world!! YUCK!!!!!!!

well my first thought was what is the dumb blonde doing at the VMA's. but then I thought well britney spears is there too so I guess its ok.
