This article is about beverage dispense and beer market. So how do you understand the words "convenience and the gas category" in the above sentence?

"WE did particularly well" means they didn't fall on their face. Had sales be anything to crow about they would have included sales figures and profit percentages. Convenience and gas would refer to the type of stores they supply, Quickie Marts and Arco gas stations. "Develop further our relationship with national accounts. Could mean anything from more golf trips, nights out on the town @ the local "Gentleman's Club". "Recognition earned" well hell the company I work for gives an award to just about every fool company we work with. Sales, marketing and purchasing dept. are all big into self promotion and patting themselves on the back. When they are doing really well they will flood you with sales figures, profit percentages, 6 color pie charts and bar graphs. Anything that does not include figures is just bull sht.

**OK, I'm back.How do I understand "the convenience & gas category?" Alright being in the beverage dispense and beer market. The word convenience means the quality of being suitable or useful, which is an advantage
in any business(market) & the gas category is a defined division or class. to me meaning they have negotiated with a gas supplier and has made it possible to get a better rate, which in turn means more savings for the this
beverage and beer market making them more competitive. I certainly hope we got it this time. hahaha
