There could be numerous reasons why it’s started biting.
If your only contact is when you’re feeding it.
It could be ill.
If you have dropt, banged, hurt or scared it.
First check that the enclosure is setup correctly and if that’s ok, then is it feeding? If not take it to the vets.
If it’s feeding then it could be the way you’re handling it. If the snake isn’t to big then when you go to get the snake out don’t of the enclosure don’t grab it at the back of the head they don’t like it. Grab it around the mid section of its body (the more you mess about when going it out the more you will upset the snake) Handle it for a short time, Just moving it to the other side of the enclosure and leaving it to climb out of your hand will start the snake trusting you again but this will not happen over night it may take time.
Good luck

Typically, a boa will become docile if it is not abused or teased. Always make slow deliberate movements, and make sure the lighting is good. When the snake is getting ready to shed, and it's eyes get milky, it's best to leave it alone. It's sight is temporarily impaired, and it may be nervous or irritable. Hope this helps.

Well snakes do keep growing and if it's trying to bite now just wait a bit longer. I would consider donating it to a zoo, as in a reptile house it would be able to slither all over the enclosure.

Do you feed him in his tank? If so, he could be anticipating his next meal with your hands coming toward him. ALWAYS feed snakes in a separate area, not in their enclosures. Some snakes get grumpy when they are about to shed, so this is a good time to leave him alone. You might consider joining a constrictor forum and asking the experts in the field for some additional ideas:
