The Dr. Phibes moves were pretty scary for their time.
Vincent Price was scary.

The thing from another world am not sure it was called that way, it is the original from the late 50ies I think black and white.... horrible I was about 10 and alone at my house and my parents out for dinner..... I felt so scared. But after they came back... they made me sleep in my bed anyway... harsh upbringing it was....
The Exorcist is still one of the worst when I remember seing it years ago, when I had to go to the bathroom... horribly scary
Jaws...... I never could swim in the ocean after that
The Omen.... very scary

Ok, so this is when I was a kid...its lame now...but Exorcist and Nightmare on Elmstreet really scared me...just because of their faces...

I'd have to say The Exorcist. I didn't see it until I was 17 and that was on regular TV, but the commercial and that stupid theme song(Tubular Bells) creeped me out.

Not a movie, but Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video gave me nightmares for a long time. I was in kindergarten when I first saw it.
