Golf ball is not too bad, but you may be over doing it.
If you bleed more, cramp more, or pass more clots, then lie down and rest for a while.
Where you sitting or lying in one spot for a while before you went to the bathroom? If the lochia discharge puddles in one spot, the clotting factors in the blood work on it, sometimes producing stupendous clots.
Keep an eye on number of pads you use in a day - should be steadily decreasing, and turning to pinkish, then brownish discharge.
Take your vitamins, eat well, and take care of the baby.
The dishes, clothes, and house will still be there when you recover more.

Yes, its normal. Especially when you lay down or sit a lot and the blood just collects there when it comes out it''ll be a clot. I had this happen to me when I had my daughter 18 months ago and I am fine.

Maybe they did not deliver all the placenta. They may have missed some of it. I know cause it happened to someone I know except hers was much bigger than that and she had a lot of pain and was real sick. She looked so pale and looked like she was going to die.

Hmm. I know this can happen when you miscarry, but I really doubt your body's up to being pregnant and then miscarrying yet. So I dunno! Let us know what she says.
