1) The prime numbers between 40 and 50 are,

41, 43 and 47

2) The number that is multiple of 10 and a factor of 45 is,

none. Because, multiples of 10 are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, ... and factors of 45 are 3, 5, 9, 15. So, there is no common between them. As a matter of fact, there is no such numbers.

3) The number that is factor of both 20 and 30 is,

2, 5 and 10

4) The nunber that is multiple of 4 and less than 10 are,

4 and 8.

1) Well if it's between 40 and 50 and its prime, then it has to be odd. "45" isn't prime because any number ending in 5 can be divided by 5. And we know 49 is 7*7. So the only possibilities are 41, 43, and 47. All of these are prime.

2) If it's a multiple of 10, then it has to end in 0. But the only factors of 45 are 1, 3, 5, 9, 15 and 45. So there are no numbers that are both.

3) Both numbers have several factors in common. 2, 5, 10...

4) Any multiple of 4 will do, since they all have to be less than 10.
