After you learn how to spell, and before you go to college, you should know that a question like this should be asked in the Teaching category -- and not the History category.

I'm going to assume you mean head start kind of things that you can do before college. Start by paying attention to what your teachers are doing now... when you don't understand something, how do they help you understand it. Ask your teachers about information on learning styles (ie some people learn by seeing things, some people can just hear it to learn it & others learn better by touch) & ask them about books on these topics that you can read now. You can also practice by tutoring. If there is a subject you are really good in, let your teacher know that you would like to help some students who are struggling in that area.

First you should learn how to spell. Then, most states in the United States will require you to have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
