The hitter Vlad most closely resembles statistically in eight of his nine full years is Willie Mays; his first full year was closest to that of HOF member Joe Medwick.
He's had/having 6 years where he is at least 50% better than the average hitter; I define those as monster seasons.
I think he would definitely be on your squad if you were picking the best of his day. Let's give him a couple more years this good to be sure, but he looks like he's headed that way.
Rodriguez is the best overall short-stop at least since Arky Vaughn. Short of huge scandal, he could retire tomorrow and be worthy of the hall.

A-Rod would go if he retired righ now.
I'd say the same for Vlad, just outta respect, the man is one of the best hitters in this generation and hits balls for hits.
Hes a sure lock as well if he retired now, maybe not on the first time up, but give him 2-3 years more and he will be in the HOF first entry time allowed.

I think he is a lock to the Hall Of Fame in a couple of years. As of now, he might be, but by the end of his career, he is definitely. Alex Rodriguez is definitely going in. He don't have to wait no "couple of years". He's a lock right now. As of Vlad, he needs a couple of years to be a lock to the Hall.

Vlad is going in the right direction, doing the right things.
ARod passed the "if hit by a bus tomorrow" test long ago.

a-rod will be in the hall because he already has 500 homeruns, and vlad just might get in he just needs to be with a better team like the yankees.

A Rod is definitely in I hope he breaks the record, even though i don't like him at least he didn't cheat.
Vlad idk he's good but like every one else in the mlb in 07 his power number are down. He still has alot on RBIs though. Personally i like vlad and would like to see him there though

A-Rod - Lock
Vlad - 2 More Years = Lock
Simple as that. Both are sure things.

Depends what he does in the next 3-5 seasons.
If he retired today, then definitely not.
