I've caught a pickpocket in an action in the Airport luggage pickup, while she was going through my suitcase. I've announced it to the entire crowded room, and she was arrested on a spot.

I suppose it was when I bartended for a couple of years--between husbands. I knew my customers, and felt safe traveling with them to race tracks, other bars, restaurants, etc.--but it could have been risky--I was very lucky to have known 'nice' people.
