my passion dream is to be an actress but how?

Ok so my dream is to be an actress. when i eat sleep drink or anything im always thinking about me being an actress. my passion and biggest dream is to be one. thats all i think about!
can someone help me ith the things i need to be one? like do i need an agent before i become one? what do i do someone help me please

Ok, so I hjope you are in drama class and all the school plays, cause that is where you start, and oh, yes, you have to have your parents' consent to have an agent or do any professional acting until you are 18 and can legally sign a contract. Really, a lot of this stuff is age dependent. If you are finished school/college then you could look for an agent. Although it's not so easy to get one unless you have contacts in the field. If you haven't yet finished second level schooling then I would suggest a drama school which would not just teach you the techniques of acting but also the business end of things too.
In the meantime, get as much experience as possible with a community theatre or some such group.

if you plan on doing short films, broadway, theatre, or some particular commercials, then there's no need for an agent. just go to open auditions. find them on sites like these:

there are also sorta semi-open auditions where you have to submit a pic and other info about yourself, and they see if you're appropriate for the part and invite you (or not).

however, if you plan on doing feature films or TV or some bigger commercials, you might want to get an agent. NOT AN AGENCY!! for your own good!! i tried. just get a regular private agent. search "acting agents in (fill in your city)" on Yahoo. it shouldn't be too hard to find one if your over 17.
