No you shouldn't, I did and intership at an ob/gyn. You can use the spray that you put up your nose though, just not for linger than 2 days.

When I went to my first doctor's appointment I received a medication list. On it it said that it was safe to take sudafed but to only take the nasal decongestant sudafed, not the sudafed cold. I have taken sudafed twice during my pregnancy and everything has been fine. I am 13 weeks 6 days pregnant.

My doctor pretty much told me only Tylenol is ok.
Personally, I wouldn't tke anything without a doctor's ok.
Stick it out for the night, drink lots of fluids, and call doc in the morning and ask.

(I have a cold right now too... Sucks that we can't take anything!) I have been drinking caffeine free tea and have a humidifier going to help me breathe. It's not quite the same as knocking it out with cold medicine but it helps.

Feel better!

Each doctor will have his/her own preferences. My doctor said Sudafed was safe to take when I was pregnant. I took it and had 4 perfectly healthy babies. However, your own doctor will be able to best tell you if it is OK for you. Don't take anything until you give your doctor a call. Here's a good website I found http://www.webmd.com/baby/guide/taking-medicine-during-pregnancy

That's what the doctors told me I could take with my second child.

With my first child the doctors told me Tylenol.

I'm sure it's OK just don't go over board

NO !! Do not take Sudaded (Pseudoepherine) while pregnant. I am a doctor who has taken care of many pregnant women and delivered many babies. If you are pregnant, you should be getting prenatal care to improve the chances of having a good delivery of a healthy, happy baby. Please ask your OB/GYN caregiver any question like this that you may have.

I asked that when I was pregnant. They told me yes but very very limited. You can take benedryal too. Good Luck.

I took it when I was pregnant. It's probably ok but...

To be safe Ask your doctor. He/She knows your condition best.

I am pretty certain you cannot take sudafed while you are pregnant. Tylenol regualr strength is all you can take. Please refer to this website
