And how can say that you support the troops, when you're against such a well respected General?
Why don't we hear the good news coming out from Iraq?
Answer: Because the liberal media doesn't want us to win and give Team Bush any credit.

They have no shame. It never fails, the dems and libs will use anything, especially spitting in the faces of great Americans.
They readily undermine what should be a collaborative effort from America to show our respect for all life and peace on earth. What should of been a memorable moment in history for all free people.
Don't forget that congress passed the Iraq Liberation Act 360-38. Now they act as if they didn't plan this war or support it from the beginning. When they did. They intentionally set this up. I think it is criminal that they don't support our troops now.

this is actual ethical outrage. whether this is not any longer related to the disrespect. this is related to the trademark violation. How dare Democrats swiftboat between the few generals prepared to spout the administration line? To Petraeus' credit, i think of he truthfully believes he can get some thing finished, regardless of understanding that he's working for persons who've purely the vaguest innovations approximately what a protection rigidity does and ought to care much less related to the realities of the job.

Was he ever in combat? Not sure about that, but I am sure of one thing, he took a lot of time behind closed doors to "prepare" his "speech". If you could pull the wool off your eyes and see we are not any better off then we were 6 years ago, then I feel sorry for you. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and that has been proven. OBL is still out there and that is Bush's biggest embarassment, but he uses it to spread his fear tactics to people like you who follow blindly and spew hate from your mouths like water. Being critical of the government is not un-American. Were you an-American being critical of Clinton? I'm sure you would say no. Please get a life and stop your hate spewing.

I don't think you should catagorize someone who is against the war as "un-American". That's an awfully strong accusation to hurl at someone, particularly when it's just because they disagree with you.
I'm sure Gen. Patraeus is a good guy, but I'd bear in mind that he works for the person who got us involved in this quagmire, and the one who insists on throwing more young men into the fray. Believe it or not, some people actually DO say only what their boss wants to hear. I'm not sayin'..... I'm just sayin'.

Screw Petraeus.. He spent all week rehearsing this thing with the Bush people...He couldnt answer any policy questions, couldnt give any kind of time table. He is a traitor to the men and women in the military because he tells the Bush spin not the truth as 7 more die while he was busy trying to snowball us with fancy charts.
If he wanted to keep his integrity he shouldn't have done the Bush Spin... Nows he's just another traitor to America and part of a murdering war machine..

It amazed me how quickly the 2 ancient gelatinous figures, Lantos and Skelton, could sit at the front of the room and blatantly try to debunk everything said or implied. If they were so concerned and needed material to debunk the reports, why didn't they go and see for themselves.

You call him(petraeus) a great war hero....Please furnish some facts to prove it.Perhaps he did write the report himself....yet I suspect that the main reason he was given the command of forces in Iraq was because he shared the presidents views!
