I remember I was driving to work and had just crossed over I-96 and I was listening to the radio and the DJ said some nut just flew a plane into one of the twin towers. And when I got to work we watched it on TV all day and I was not happy that I witnessed the second plane. It's the modern day Pearl Harbor. But what worries me is that it took 60 years for someone to "get" us again, and something of this magnitude will happen to us again. We are constantly giving into the stupidest crap from people who come to the US because it's obviously better. Constant lawsuits for offending foreigners. Screw that, this is MY country you follow our rules or just deal with it, or better yet LEAVE! Has anyone actually read the long version of the Constitution??? It says that social values will be changed in so much as they don't alter the intrinsic value of the constitution. And yet we are giving into every little demand from non-Americans

I do remember...I remember I was in 5th grade and I woke up and walked to school to PE class and my class was playing kickball and some girl asked me if I had heard on the news about a building that blew up in New York and all these people were crying and stuff but I just said No because I thought she was talking about something crazy or was trying to tell a story and couldn't get it straight. So I completely forgot about it until I got to class where my teacher had the news turned on and we just watched it for the entire day...for about 3 days.

I also remember an Austin Powers impersonator was there doing a performance lol. Then when I got home me and my mom met the lady that we were going to babysit for and we also watched it on the news at my house over some coffee and I just played with her daughters. Not a really dramatic day.

Oh yeah, I remember in vivid detail everything that happened that day. I'll never forget. I was at work that morning (in a pharmacy). I remember who I was working with, the prescription I was filling and who it was for, I remember the outfit I wore that day, ironically, was all black. I remember my boss telling us about both the towers and the pentagon and I just kept thinking, "This has to be some kind of sick joke. This isn't really happening." Since that happened, I haven't been able to keep from getting all teary-eyed when hearing the national anthem!

That was a really scary day. I remember that I was in the third grade and they annoced that New York has been attached. I lived on a Military Air Forse Base. My base compeletly shut down so that no one could come in or out. It was like that for 2 days. When I went home I saw what happened on the news and I cried and I had to ask my mommy what happened. Then I asked her wheres daddy? and then shes like "he is alright he will be home in 30 mins." Then when my daddy came home I ran and gave him a big HUG and told him that I loved him. I will never forget that day. So sad =].... but also to look on the positive it kind of showed us that our Nation can go through anything as long as we stick together. I hope they will replay the attaches all day tomorrow so that NO ONE will forget what happened.

oh, i remember it like it was yesterday. . .

i had just gotten home from kindergarten, it was a half-day, i walked into my house, expecting my pb&j to be sitting on the table, but all i heard were sobs coming from the living room. i walked in and saw my mom, watching the television, and crying. i asked what was wrong, and she said there was a terrible accident and my dad [[he's a firefighter]] might have to be sent to help out. luckily, he wasn't, but i'll still never forget it <3
