At this point in history we are between eras. The previous era of the Republican Party was what I call the Big Mouth Era. All through the Clinton years, Republicans and right-wing radio hosts said outrageous things about Clinton, Democrats and 'liberals' to get attention. The founders of this era were Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh. The more outrageous, the more hyperbolic the better. Truth didn't matter, in fact it was better if it wasn't true.
Right wing 'dittoheads' repeated these things, and believed them, without really understanding them. In fact a frightening number of conservatives today are not really able to discuss issues intelligently, all they do is repeat these outrageous factoids. For instance, whenever Hillary Clinton comes up in this forum some neo-con will reflexively call her a 'socialist'. Its like a knee-jerk reaction. Hillary? She's a socialist! Anyone who calls Hillary a socialist either doesn't know much about Hillary or else doesn't know what a socialist is, or both. "Socialist" sounds like something bad, and they don't like Hillary, so she must be one.
Ann Coulter is the peak, the epitome, the apotheosis of Republican Big-Mouth Rhetoric. I think she has a whole staff of people coming up with insults, deliberate mischaracterizations, slanders, and just plain -slime-. She says these things, either on Fox or in her column, and then when they draw angry responses she says 'You see how much those 'liberals' hate me?'
But the Big Mouth era is coming to a close, and this is partly because of people like Coulter. You can only go so far with this kind of thing and Coulter has become a self-parody. President Bush has done enormous damage not just to the GOP but in the conservative movement in general, and most people no longer find hyperbolic, extremist rhetoric entertaining.

Well, you would must learn her endorsements.... I do not comply with her, however she comes up at times in information searches. A normal endorsement would say anything like: "Now all McCain has going for him is having been a POW, however we've had hundreds and hundreds of POWs and we can not make they all President. So inform me. What is extra most important? Having been out of movement for far of the warfare, or the capability to cry on cue? I consider the latter. Another factor for my woman, Hill." That's paraphrased, of path. I do not know that Hillary particularly demands to denounce that kind of factor. All Coulter is announcing is that she might alternatively have Hillary than McCain, which I must believe, even though if Ron Paul does not run in November, I will probably be shopping for a 3rd alternative to vote for.

She knows that saying outrageous things gets her attention--both positive and negative, and she's just an attention whore feeding off the outrage from the left and the gooshing from the right.
And for the record, at least Bill Maher and Michael Moore have never advocated violence, have never advocated killing anyone, while Coultergeist has.

she is attention hungry. In fact, she is paid to say and write outrageous things. The more outrageous they are, the more publicity she gets, and the more successful she becomes.

Coulter's statements are no more outrageous than those made by Bill Maher or Micheal Moore. Libs, on top of all their other sins, are hypocrites.
