Skip asking the seller ,
Have Your hand picked home inspector go through the place with a fine tooth comb and report to you .
The seller of my place had put higher amperage breakers on existing ckts in the electrical panel .
He was clueless , he didn't know it was a Major Code Violation that could have killed his family .

Pass on the seller , talk to the inspector .
