I would have to say the Alaskan Cruise we took on Celebrity Cruise Lines. We had a suite with a private balcony, a jacuzzi tub and full European Butler Service. Booking a suite also provides express boarding, (no waiting in lines to check in) and express departure (first to disembark). The food was outstanding and there were two formal nights (my wife loves to dress up and see me in my tux). The scenery is breathtaking and the on board spas were top notch.
It was the first time I got to gamble in the casino in my tuxedo! Kind of felt like James Bond.

To the Balaton (Platinsee) in Hungary. It's the largest lake in Central Europe, very, very long(77 km) but quite narrow (between 4- 14 km) and not deep at all (max 12 meters). My friend invited me to spend three days with her in their summer cottage near the shore in Balatonlelle (about the middle, south shore), and it just happened to be the last days of the annual wine festival. We went sailing, walking, but mostly sampling the wine, eating and lounging on the boat or in the water. We sailed to Badacsony to walk amongst the small vineyards and wineries (sampling), sailed back to Lelle for the announcing of the winner of Miss Winefest (who not only had to be gorgeous, but more importantly, must know her wine) and sample (for free) the winner of best vintage (red and white) for the year. I know bugger-all about wine, but I have taste-buds in my mouth and it was fun to rate them and pick our personal favourites. It was also very amusing to walk a kilometer or so out into the lake and find it come only up to my chest. I got an unbelievable tan (but I tan well anyway) too.

I was 12 years old, my father sent me to visit my sister in Washington D.C.for the summer. We took a train into NYC' Grand Central Station and toured around for two days. And then back to D.C. where she lived.

Europe...particularly a little Bavarian village (Mittenwald). It was straight out of a postcard! Beautiful, nestled right in the middle of the mountains. Oh how I want to go back!

I spent the summer with my sister & her husband in Abilene, Tx when I was a teenager. I had a ball! He was in the Air Force & we (friends I made) would ride the shuttle bus all over the base. It was cool.

My trip to Vegas! I consider it more of a trip than a vacation. It was my first trip with friends and we had so much fun!
