Can you imagine our soldiers being hit wave after wave by 14 year olds rushing them hoping to either die and get martyred by taking out an american platoon or die and get martyred trying to.

You wouldn't be seeing all this BS. If we wanted to invade Iran with ground forces we would have to be the UNITED states. Not this agenda driven crap we've been dealing with. In all seriousness though, the plan would include a much stronger airstrike, stronger than we have seen since WWII. Those MOABs are getting bigger and bigger.

If Obama wins, they're not going to get out of there. He's likely to make Iraq into a US protectorate. Besides, I heard the Irans just lost some kind of minor internal conflict. Might be false though.

Well first of all, we are not in a "quagmire" in Iraq. Secondly, Iran is providing the materials, training and money for 95% of the terror attacks in Iraq. Iran's leadership is afraid of what a true self determined government in Iraq will mean to it's tenuous hold on power there. Thirdly, the people of Iran love the U.S., it's the leadership, or religious leadership to be more exact that don't like the U.S.
I imagine that if we take any military action, it will not be an occupation. All we need to do is to take out the nuclear facilities, and the one refinery in Iran. Then we can blockade all crude out of, and refined products into Iran. Once that is done, Iran crumbles.

No, I don't but do you want to live in a world under the constant threat of nuclear attack like we did with the USSR. Except these people don't care if they die, unlike the USSR. Yes it would be a quagmire, no doubt and a struggle, but I believe that Iran's people wouldn't oppose us like in Iraq and it is better then then the alternative.

Besides, it's just big talk. The American army is in no shape to invade anybody right now.

1. Iraq is not a quagmire. It is in the normal development of democracy.
2. Big if on that.
3. We may not need to invade Iran. Bomb some facilities and help the Iranian people take over and a few bombers will take care of the job.
4. I cannot wait until Iran gets what is coming.
