I am going to college and high school at the same time. I am only 15. I was supposed to be in a college play and i would have made it for sure (maybe not a big role but definantly in the play) because the director is my theater teacher and she said she loved my acting but now we found out i cant because it doesnt fit my high school schedule (12-4). Rehursals begin at 2:00. Now thats gone. I am going to hang around during rehursals from 2-3 during my free period but i can anly go once in a while. Now what do i do?

P.S In the summer i will be taking acting lessons in school and MAY BE in a play.

I agree with 'justanotherguy.' Being a techie is AMAZING (I'm one) and actors really ought to learn the backstage part of it. It's one thing to be on stage, but being backstage is both pure chaos and a ton of fun. It also makes actors think twice about how they act towards us. Alot of times they order us around and treat us like we're below them because we're not on stage (I'm not saying your one of them, I'm simply generalizing). One of my friends says "Since we built it, its our set and we're just letting them borrow it."

Offer to help back stage. In my opinion, all actors should learn the backstage area of a theatre as well as the boards. You can learn a lot by observing the other actors and you will be involved and helping in a real way

Well one thing you could do is learn to spell rehearsal.

As an actor there will be many disappointments. If you can't be in one show, find another.

Take advantage of all opportunities.
