I'm so bored I put duct tape on all my notebooks. Now I'm writing quotes on them. There's this really funny one it says.
Always be nice to your children because they are the ones who will choose your rest home.
That one made me crack up. I thought it was hilarious. Well just say something to this and it's an easy 2 points for you.

I don't have any kids. I'm only 15. When I do have kids they will think just like me and act just like me. Goofy and random.

This is really not so funny. I do volunteer work in a nursing home and you would be surprised how many children just drop there parents off and never come and see them again. When a person gets old and can no longer make the decision on there own, then it is left up to the children. So be good to your children, because you never know what they will end up doing with you some day! Even if you are only 15 years old, there will come a day when you do have children and they to will grow up fast and you will grow old some day.

It's a true statement. I have heard that before. My daughter used to do the same thing with her notebooks and then she would duct tape her pocketbook, even her backpack. She must of been bored as well. She would doodle on the tape. It's great that you have received so many answers !!

The quote was true for the 80-90-s now with the price of every thing going up it won't be a rest home they"ll be far to expensive. They'll be coming to live with you dear. If you are bored, go ask mommy if there are any chores that can keep you busy till bed time.
God bless.

I love it that you put duct tape on your notebooks. I love it that you are now 'decorating' them with 'quotations' you think up or know. I have one for you ...
There is so much good in the worst of us
And so much bad in the best of us
That it ill behooves any of us
To talk about the rest of us.

This was on a plate in my grandmother's kitchen, and I still think it's the 'best quote' I've ever read ... and it's also a good answer to 'racism' or 'sexism' or any other 'ism' ...

I cannot confess to the things I do when Iam bored........the judge would consider it a violation. Good for you that you duct taped your notebooks. I've duct taped many things but never notebooks.

Duct tape makes interesting things.
I had a bracelet made out of it, my friend had a wallet, and my other friend had a chain.
Never thought of putting it on a notebook, though.
Nice one.

My cousin had to choose a nursing home for her mom, my aunt, and it is the only one in our town that accepts social security payments as payment...
My cousin is out of work and could not afford to pay on her own so it is lucky they accept the payments like they do and not ask for more than we could afford...
It is very sad to go see my aunt there too cause she has Alzheimer's and is bedridden and can't walk...
She can't remember things and she wears adult diapers...
It is truly sad...
Wait till you see your parents get old one day...
