The cure is Impeachment.

Bert Impeachment would mean the removal of his entire cabinet, including Cheney.

Somber, impeachment only means that Congress says, "We Don't Like What You Did".

Impeachment is not removal from office. Besides, removing Bush from the Presidency puts Dick Cheney as President and I, and I'm sure most Americans, would rather have a fool in the Oval Office than a monster.

Two reasons. First, the neoconservatives in Congressstill have the votes to block an impeachment conviction.

Second--such a move--though I'll agreeBush certainly deserves it--would be a very serious matter. Allowing Bush to finish out his term may be better in the log run for the good of the country. And that comes first. As for Bush--leave him to the justice of Heaven.

Two reasons, FEAR and RESPECT! We as Americans may not like where Bush has taken us in terms of the War on Terror but we understand Bush's commitment to be known as the National Security President. The majority of Americans fear that rushing to replace Bush would be mistake. Secondly, as Americans we do respect the office of Presidency. We may bicker on some things that the President (and his cabinet) does or does not do, but we do respect the job the President of United States has, as leader of the free world.

...the same reason America put up with Bill Clinton's "very short affair" and then lying to the entire country about it.......(sorry that one just always comes to mind)

America puts up with our government. The President does not and can not act alone. He has to be supported by our government in the decisions he makes or they just do not happen...(by Dems & Reps)

Bush is not solely to blame, but I guess that is easier for some people to do since some do not even know who makes up our government.

Well, partisanship is alive and well in the Republican party. They block anything the Democrats try to do to clean up the administration. Since the Democrats only hold a very slim majority, they have little or no chance to get much done.

We tolerate this President for precisely the same reason we tolerated the law breaking previous President; We are a country of laws and due process.

That you are still free to write and ask such a question in a public forum without fear of being taken in the night and imprisoned is simple proof that this President and his predecessor were not failed Presidencies.

"...That a nation so dedicated and so conceived shall not perish from this earth." - Spoken by a past Republican President

Because the Democrats are not impeaching him. End of story.

because protecting this country against al qaeda is not failure and there are postives that far outweigh the negatives in his presidency that liberals wont face. your question has no specific answer beyond that as you have no foundation to your question..the presidency isnt failed and WORKING americans dont ...put up...with someone who is doing his job correctly as bush is. the presidency is a job, not a popularity contest among liberal extremists.

LOL! As soon as Bush commits a high crime or violates the Constitution he can be impeached. Until then, nope, the cure is not impeachment.
