im 15 and a half and tampons feel uncomfortable. pads make me absolutly miserable to tears. i dont want to have a sucky week just cuz im on my period!!! will i have to wear them forever?

Well, not forever. You'll hit menapause someday. No, it'll be okay. Try the super thin ones. There not so bad. This is just something you will have to get used to. I have the same problem but I'm okay. I feel for ya.

NO, on the contrary, u just have to find one suitable 4 U! As I can't wear em either, till I started going to the GYM, in the pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, etc. & I'm in my 40's. I found 1 that is easy to incert & putting r leg on top of the toilet helps as well. It's Kotex security tampons Super r what u need, it's plastic & just follow instrutions, I didn't notice an uncomfortable feeling & was surprised too! Try em, I hope they work 4 u!

You'll hit menopause at 45 so no, not forever. And during your pregnancies (which I hope are a good ways away) you don't wear them. Have you experimented with different shapes, thickness and types of sanitary napkins? Some of the thin hourglass shaped are comfortable.

absolutely not...it may be that you're putting in the tampons wrong and that's why they're uncomfortable (check the little instruction sheet that comes with it to make sure you're doing it right) but then otherwise i'm sure there's some other alternative you can use...

It is probably uncomfortable because you use the cardboard applicators. Try using the plastic applicator, they are much more comfortable and they also help get the plug in there where it belongs!

If you dont get use to tampons then yes until you hit menopause. If you do not bleed heavy then get thinner pads they feel more natural then the thick ones.

i am 14 and i love tampons. you should wear them whenever you have your period...if just might be uncomfy if you have it in far enough....so try putting the app. in a little farther then press the plunger.

you just need to practice using tampons. if they are uncomfortable then you aren't inserting them properly. you shouldn't be able to feel them.

they felt uncomfortable for me when i was first using them, it may not be in far enough or you may have to get use to it, but you shouldnt feel it at all. i use them and i have no problems
