Lots to do in SLC. Temple square and the Tabernacle. The whole Mormon thing. You are still going to be there during the summer so head up to Snowbird and Alta in the Wasatch Mountains. Less than an hour out of down town. Great restaurants, (go to the Steak Pit for dinner, the best, Ask for Mike Chew as your waiter and tell him Randy Slocum said Hi, He will treat you right.) Take a tram ride to the top of the mountain and hike down or just ride back down. Really beautiful territory. Feel free to email me. I lived there for years so I am not to tourist oriented.

DON'T go to Temple Square. It's boring as hell.

If you enjoy the outdoors I would go up Little or Big Cottonwood canyon. This is where the big ski resorts are and the scenery is beautiful anytime you go.

There are some great restaurants located in the downtown area so definitely check them out. If you are going to be here for the weekend there are several clubs in Salt Lake that can be a lot of fun. For details check out www.slcparty.com.

Ok what you do is you want to go to Temple Square. It's such a beautiful building and the grounds are always so pretty. While there you want to go to the visitors center and check out the stuff in there!
