Like I understand how people are saying how his last couple of features have been alright but I mean personally I think the only one he flop on was "Touchdown". I mean, it was ight but not great. "Peep Show" the beat was sick and so was the verse. And his verse in "Smack That" was good too. I mean, I would admit that he been rapping very stupidly...doing his Slim Shady alot but I mean if you think he flop you got to be joking. I mean we are talking about the same man who kill Jay-Z in "Renegade", kept up with Biggie in "Dead Wrong", kill the song "Don't Approach Me" and has never had a flop album. But I mean, what do you think?

okay too be more in depth, touchdown wasn't a flop he hid imagery in tha rhymes he used, he was talking about something by rhyming about something else, which is hard to do, I believe his rap is a product of tha tracks he's on, look at no apologies that alone made me glad I bought tha re-up, he is a business man and spitting your best every time you lay down a track sounds great, but as far as tha demands it lays on tha emcee, what he has given us is way above par and his next album will undoubtedly speak for itself... LOOK OUT FOR DETOX!

He will never fall off. The only issue is his content. He can kill anyone lyrically but lately he's got nothing groundbreaking to say. I mean he's really between a rock and a hard place cuz he cant go back to what he used to rap about cuz thats played out, and if he conforms to what's popular now then he's no better that these clowns calling themselves rappers today. So i think he should just fade away or if possible release a final album in 5 years or so that blows everyone away, but that seems pretty impossible, but hey, fingers crossed....

Em's quality started slipping since Encore (his weakest album). Proof's untimely passing did not help the situation either. It is like he is not super motivitaed in writing rhymes right now. I would have thought that Proof's death would have lit a fire under his *** and we were going to see some real deep, personal stuff from him and D-12 but it has been just the opposite. Lackluster appearences on The Re-Up, Smack That and the horrible Touchdown have me wishing that he would just gather his thoughts and really strive to put out another classic album to join The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show.

Eminem has gotten significantly worse considering the fact that MMLP & SSLP. he's repetitive, predictable and has a unfavourable determination in beats. additionally, he's offered out huge time. Did you even see the song itemizing on restoration? purple & Rihanna are on the album, yet no Obie Trice? No D12? No Royce? He does not even collaborate with the superb Detroit emcess like Elzhi, accountable Simpson, huge Sean & Black Milk. Its like he intentionally collaborates with different artists that he's time-honored with he can outshine on a song and garnish checklist sales. He does not suck, yet he's mediocre. He was once solid nonetheless, there is not any denying that.

I said that he flopped a while back...

I think a lot of it is due to his life situation changing. "They say I can't rap about being broke no more..." That knocked out the possibility of another album reminiscent of "Slim Shady".

Then things got better with Kim and there went the majority of his anger and rage.

Now his lyrics lack steam, frustration, and originality. He's become a bland emcee.

Luckily, like you touched on, we can always go back and listen to his older stuff and be thoroughly amused and satisfied with him as a rapper.

No doubt is he one of the dopest dudes to ever pick up the mic, now he just needs to figure out when to put it down.

Peace.

Yeah I think he fell of. It has nothing to do with his talent. I think he is one of the most (if not the most) talented rappers around today. I just think that some where along the line he lost his drive. He's not that hungry Detroit kid anymore. Thats what his music is missing.
