No. Today for me is no different, but bear with me while I explain:

The truth is, 9/11 has changed the way I view each and every day. Time spent with our loved ones is a gift to cherish. The perception that government can provide us any real security is gone. The knowledge that there are people who hate us without cause - and who live to destroy us without mercy - is sobering and frightful.

I view the world and my life in a completely different manner ever since that hateful day, when the world was reminded yet again what evil in the hand of just one man can do to the multitudes. None of us have the promise of tomorrow, but we can live our lives with those we love to the best of our abilities today.....hopefully that mindset and goal is my tribute every day to the memory of those who were lost, and for their loved ones who remain to mourn their tragic loss.

I will treat today just like any other day. I will remember the victims just like any other day. Making a big deal about 9/11 just gives the terrorists more power, as this was victory day over America according to them. We can pay special tribute to the victims today, but we should be doing that every day, or at least on several occasions throughout the year, not just on 9/11.

Yes I am!
I'm treating today like the 4th of July lol.
I bought lots and lots of fireworks tonight. I will light them to remember the sacrifices that were made today and the solders my family over in Iraq today.
I also Layed down some flowers and candles in front of the military base in remembrance of the innocent lives loss.

today is not about politics.....or war....or anything.
Its about the people who died and I will respect them today because I know how lucky I am to be alive and happy.

More consipracy huh? You seriously need to educate yourself somewhere besides the internet because I can find 100 more websites opposing your story. Not very resourceful huh? And I so hate to burst your bubble but.....Clinton was the one who had the shot on bin ladden....There were warning signs way before Bush. I don't like Bush, he is not the brightest crayon in the box. So how could he get away with such are large scale conspiracy if nixon couldn't even get away with the watergate scandal which only involved a handful of people? Also this has been going on since before you were even born. Not a new thing America is not invicible but its kinda sad that you can't even believe someone else might not like you. So you make up stories which have been easily proven false.

Who gives a flying **** if a america brought them upon themselves or if AQ did it! You're just disrespeting 1000's of innocent lives loss. Yesterday I didn't care who did it I cared for the families that lost loves ones.....and have to remember this day for the rest of there lives while you guys went about you everyday lives shurgging your shoulders. Grow up and get some balls.

Leave politics out of a tradgey....it has no place here.

I do agree with you though and how we should pray for a every human being everyday instead of specific things.

We side with Israel because they have nukes.....I'm sure no one wants any country to use nukes because they've threaten them before against Iran.

I guess what I'am saying is....
We're damned if we do damned if we don't. Either way no side will be happy.

I don't live in the US(i live in Romania, and it really sux out here). I've been to the US every 2-3 summer months since i've been 4(aunt&uncle living there). Personally, i consider the US to be my true home, not Romania. Amongst my daily activities, i'll say a prayer for the US and Romanian troops in Iraq and Afghanistan that are fighting to make our world a safer place, the truly patriotic men who fight for their country, for the men that have fallen on the battlefield fighting against terrorism, and for the victims of 9/11. Uncle Sam is proud of you, guys. Also probably i'll raise the US flag (at half-mast, i think that's the appropriate way...is it?), and a prayer for the US, for Romania and for my family. If you Have FSX, and want to fly a memorial flight above Manhattan and WTC Plaza, get an F-14/F-15/F-16/F-22 and look fot "9/11 Memorial Flight", flying in formation-i'll be flying a B-52/SR-71 Blackbird with a large US flag banner behind me(can't miss me). Password is "ingodwetrust".

I fly my American flag every day. Not just on the 4th of July, or on 9/11. I am always patriotic. I always remember. And I pray for everyone.

I don't know about anyone else, but I just don't see how anyone could forget. I will always have that day in my heart and in my memories.

Remembering 9/11 or any other tragic event is NOT a sign of weakness! It is a sign of unity and pride. There is nothing wrong with mourning, and there is nothing wrong with choosing to move on.

To each his/her own.

God Bless America-land that I love!

I think that you shouldn't do anything different than you do in your daily lives because the heroes who died wouldn't want you to.
They'd want you to live your life to the fullest but never forget what thappened, and what a tragedy it was and how much it hurt the country, and make sure it never happens again.
I think that I'm going to think about them a lot today, especially since my friends dad died. When it happened, was only in 6th grade, and I had no idea what was going on, but I did understand was a tragedy it was. I couldn't understand how many lives were lost, but I did understand that a lot of people were hurt.
I live in NJ, and a lot of people who were at the trade centers were from NJ. So I think it really hit home for us. I know it did for me.
Now that i'm a Senior in High school, I understand what happened, and i think about what a tragedy it was. No matter where I am, or what I do, I will never forget, and even if I have to do it single handedly, I won't let the WORLD forget...

I am doing something nice for someone else-I bought a bunch of stuff (note cards, post its, wipes, band-aids, pens, tape, coloring books, etc) for my son's day care center. The teachers typically get these items so it lets me do something nice for them to show that I appreciate all they do to care for my son and the other kids that go there. I got the idea from a website that wanted to get people to think of others on this day instead of being sad. I like feeling like the day was a reminder of how when the attacks occured the nation felt more like one big community and we were all there for each other and not so much a debate over the war, the devestation the attacks caused. It's still a very sober day though across the country.

I will remember them, and 9/11. That is how I will pay tribute.

I organised for people to submit poems and articles on how they remember 9/11 and posted it on my punk webzine: Apt Punk (check the MySpace page - shameless plug!). Thought it would be a nice 9/11 tribute.

I think of and remember our fallen each and every day, our soldiers and all the members of the armed forces which give so much for our way of life. No, I do not do anything special or out the the way on 9/11 as this attention and effect is partly what terrorist look to do, interrupt the normal flow and ebb of life and society. I shall remember our fellow Americans as I do each and every day and continue on living the American way of life. Before you go to say I am not a patriot, I would like to say I am a combat vet a few times over and live and bleed red, white and blue. So please dont make 9/11 a special day alone, make each and every day a day to remember those who give and have given so much to this country of ours.
