First off I was thinking, just to lease an empty parking lot on the weekends and "cone"set up a track. Dont get me wrong eventually I'd like to buy/ lease some land and do it more professional built track but for know I just want to do it as simple as possible and build up the "following" again that we once had here prior to the guy that bought out our local track for karts only! (jerk) lol
anyways Basically to start this would be a YSR/ NSR 50cc and pocket rocket type track nothing bigger than (give or take) a 125cc mostly 50/60cc though.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE ON WHERE TO START?
insurance?
legal documents needed?
racing league support?
ect.ect.
Also would it be harder or easier to do this on a old D-commisioned military base? or to many loop holes to jump through?
I am located In Sacramento. California
(home of the new laws state! LOL j/k)

You can start by joining the American Motorcyclist Association, that is the best start. Besides if you want to race, you must be a member. They are the only sanctioning body that supports riders like you. They can also provide you the information you need to get started.

You probably need to file a Quit-Claim Deed back to the Sellers, which would transfer all interest you may have acquired under the contract back to the seller, and possibly a termination of contract. I'd have a lawyer draw it up to make sure your both covered, and make sure it's the termination form is something that both seller and buyer sign.
