I agree. Hope you will have the opportunity to move elsewhere and discover other places in the US that are truly wonderful. Good luck!

Cleveland is an All American City with lots to to. It is the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the 2007 NBA Eastern Conference Champions Cleveland Cavaliers. I find Cleveland being a clean city with friendly people and great restaurants. I cannot wait to visit Cleveland again in the future.

Cleveland is a great city. You have to find out what makes it great. We have great Pro sports teams, with rabid fans. We have awesome museums, and an amazing park system. We have the greatest amusement park in the world (Cedar Point). We have the North Coast of America, with Lake Erie and all it has to offer (Fishing, swimming, boating). I'll admit, Cleveland proper leaves something to be desired, but than again, almost no one lives or stays in Cleveland proper. There is great clubs in the Warehouse district. Pick up as friday magazine in the Plain dealer and see what all there is to do here in Cleveland! Until you experience all we have to offer, you'll never know what makes Cleveland great!

Depends on what you're into. There are three major sports teams if you want to go to games. There is skiing at Brandywine and sledding in the winter. The Rock Hall is cool to visit. Dave and Buster's and Whirlyball can be fun. Most of the major concert tours come here. There are plenty of museums and some of the best hospitals in the nation. Lots of the suburban areas are great places to live and raise a family. There are plenty of night spots too. And of course, there's bowling. Clevelanders are not fake like in other cities. Women won't ask you what kind of car you drive if you meet them in a bar. You can go to a lot of places in jeans and just be yourself.
Of course, the economy is not the best, especially since Cleveland lost a lot of manufacturing jobs and many college graduates leave as soon as they get their degrees in hand. A lot of people leave because of the lack of good-paying jobs. If Cleveland develops the lakefront like Chicago, it could be a force to be reckoned with.

If you like sports theres professional games you can go to of almost any sport.
If you like the arts Cleveland has a great art museum, Playhouse square, great cleveland orchestra, indie film theater- cedar lee...
For food theres lots in Cleveland, you just have to find what you want. Anywhere in Little Italy is great. Compared to other cities Cleveland lacks, but there a lot of fun things to do as well.

Have you even given it a chance? I agree with the person who said life is what you make of it. Go out and explore, you'll find something you like about here.
