Not all straight women support gay marriage. Me, personally, agree with it. If two people truly love each other, then they should be able to make it legal. Many say that by allowing gay marriage, you are making a mockery of marriage. But, by not allowing it, you have gay men marrying straight women and making the biggest mockery of all out of the sanctity of marriage.

It's the W&G complex, I like to say. Grace (straight woman) has a close relationship with Will (the gay man). Personally, I have a lot of female friends who just find me more interesting and fun than their heterosexual male friends. One of the reasons I can find is that when a straight woman and a gay man become friends, there aren't any sexual hangups. A woman can be assured that the guy won't be staring at her the whole time if he's gay (usually). But also, it's a stereotype but sometimes it's true, gay men tend to be more interpersonal and sympathetic and overal relate more easily with woman (and vice-versa). It's completely normal to get into situations like this as like you said, gay men seem to have traits that are desirable. You're not the only one who gets into situations like this, however, so don't feel alone!

That has nothing to do with it. Even if straight women supported gay marriages that doesn't mean it's going to become legal in all states. If a man is gay and admits to himself he's gay then he won't marry a woman, but if a man is sleeping with other men and denies he is gay, then he could still end up marrying an unsuspecting woman whether she supports gay marriage or not.

Lisa Minelly knew her husband(s) (yes she married more than one gay man) were gay. She doesn't get married for marriage sake...she get's married when people start saying "Lisa Who?" Lisa is a staunch supporter of the Gay community...as her mother was. She didn't get married with her eyes closed.
I support gay marriages because I feel that when you live with someone for 40-50 years and your partner passes you should benefit from their estate for always being there rather than blood family who had disowned the deceased partner. As it stands now when parents disown a gay person and that gay person lives with someone for years and years without contact of parents and blood relatives, if he should die his parents can come in and take EVERYTHING, including property owned together. I wounder how many straight partners would like that to happen in THEIR marriage...your husband pass away and his parents come in and take everything while leaving you out in the cold.

LOL. I don't think it works that way. I'm really supportive of gay marriage but I don't think legalizing it would change men who are gay marrying straight women. I think men who are gay who marry straight women haven't came to terms yet with their sexuality and that why their with women. I think even if it was legal everywhere some people wouldn't want to admit they are homosexual.

Hell no! If any woman/man is stupid enough to marry a gay person then it is their problem. I am from an area where you can pick a gay person out of 10,000 people. If some stupid lady/guy is stupid enough to marry someone who is sexually attracted to someone else, well, it's their stupidity.
Gay people cannot change who they are! If someone marries them hoping they'll change, well, that person deserve whatever heart break is coming to her/him.
