I want to do something big. Like, make it myself, with cardboard and cloth.

You could make yourself a zombie coming out of a coffin or a tombstone kinda like this the tombstone could go up and down.! Just paint a box with your name and year and use suspenders or some wide stretchy elastic from Walmart to hold it over your shoulders. make it go up and down.

here's some ideas: bo-peep a fairy a marionette doll (with the red circle cheeks, curled hair, a flouncy dress, vivid eyelashes and strings attached of course) a facebook/myspace page (use cardboard) someone from a certain time period 50s,60s,70s,80s(very fun!) or from medieval/rennaissance commonly known fictional charachter or a fairytale character-Rapunzel, etc. This one is pretty cheesy but one of you could string small ceral boxes on a piece of rope then stick forks thru the boxes and wear it around your neck (hence THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah that one might be to "gay" for you (since 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) but its just a suggestion.

or go as two piñatas and the guy with a stick from the “viva piñata” game.
if there are three of you go as a hamburger. One person as the top bun, one as the bottom and one as the burger. Then stand real close together.
There are some great Mario characters. like Birdo, Mario tennis guys (carry tennis rackets) , Blooper etc.

Try thinking 'outside' the box ... one year I didn't have any 'good ideas' so I just cut holes in the bottom and near the top of two black garbage bags, put my sons in and added some 'wadded paper' then tied them at the neck ... EVERYONE thought that was 'the cutest and best' costume they'd ever seen. I've also sewed a 'marigold' costume for my 'copper topped' daughter ... so don't 'look on the 'Net' but 'think of neat things you can do' on your own or with your friends. Just 'think OUTSIDE the box' and your costume will be great ...

I've been many things.. a geni (spelling?), a pirate, and a dead fairy. those are my most creative. It turns something creative if it's dead... for example a dead pony! Maybe not that one.. Or be a pumpkin that never gets old. If your handing out candy dress as a banana and when some1 comes to the door yell then fake faint (that way you get to keep the candy) If you're like me and watched Even Stevens as a kid be a penguin jockey like lewis was (i don't know where you would find that costume tho:() Good Luck!!

how bout a bunch of grapes? use a colored t shirt and matching tights or leggings and tie matching colored balloons all over you be sure to put long stings on the ones that will cover your butt and pin them higher up your back. This way they'll hang in place when you walk, but you can move them to sit down. P. S. Stay away from anyone dressed like a porcupine!!!!! Party On!!

Well I have three ideas for you and your friends!!!
IDEA #1.Put on some funky makeup and dress like a hippie!
IDEA #2.Dress as a pumpkin and leave a whole in the middle like where the stomach is and then fill the inside of the pumpkin with orange goo and then tell people to reach inside the whole and then they will freak out!!!
IDEA#3.Dress half princess, half witch!!!

Maybe you should do a devil costume. You know like making it out of fabric or cardboard and making the horns out of ribbon.
