a little bit of blood on the paper after you have a bm, probably hemmorhoid or straining to defecate. If it persists, see your doctor. Good Luck!

Um, good thing for the anominity of the internet! I have experienced this problem when I was 23 and now in my later years.....both times, told I have a hemmeroid. Even had them check inside with a camera. Yup. It can either be a slight tear when you poop...or inside due to strain. If it keeps on for more than a few days, ask your doctor. But you don't have to freak out just yet. Especially since its bright red, like a cut.
Be well! Eat something juicy and non-constipating!! Fresh peaches should do it, if they are ripe enough!!

One of the best things for this is taking a fiber laxative, like Citrucel. All you have to do is mix a scoop full in a glass of orange juice and then drink it right down, followed by full glass of water. Do this twice a day for about 3 days and your bowel movements will be easier and regular. It doesn't create loose stools or diarrhea, but makes elimination easier and normal. A lot of people drink a glass of juice with a scoop at least once a day as part of their daily diet, especially those who tend to stay constipated due to the things they eat (or not eat). You can buy this at any Walmart, grocery store or pharmacy in the laxative section.

Also, they have a website that you can check out and they have a newsletter you can subscribe to that will provide discount coupons for their products.

One suggestion though - - - they also have it in tablet form that you can take, but I don't think it works like the powder form. Mixing it with your favorite juice works best.

Yes, tis normal especially if you strained to go. Often, a little tear will occur andit will heal on its own. You need to be worried when you are filling the toilet with bright red blood, or are bleeding in between stools.

Sometimes this happens when your bowel movements are hard....but if it happens a lot and doesn't stop you need to tell your doctor about it and possibly have a colonoscopy to see inside your colon for any polyps or inflammation. I know this because I have ulcerative colitis and had blood after my bowel movements. Hope you don't have anything to worry about but I hope you take this seriously and see your doc if it becomes bothersome.

Probably hemorrhoids. I have the same problem. Don't take a laxative, as it will irritate your pipes, so to speak. Eat lots of high-fiber foods--apples, peaches, dried fruits, veggies.
