I just feel for her. I think she has post partum depression with bipolar tendencies. She really just needs help. She looked so scared on stage at the VMA's, as she rightly should be with all the world waiting for her to fall on her face so they can kick her while she is down. My goodness she is not even fat!!! I cannot believe people say she is. ANyways what do you guis think about it.

Britney is a classic example of what the media does to someone that they have decided to hang out to dry.

Britney isn't a bad person regardless of what people say about her, but people love to hate someone that succeeded when the hater never even bothered to try.

You cant help but hurt for Britney in the sense that she is trying to get back up and the rotten press just keeps kicking her, harder and harder, hoping that she will fail so that they have more hate to write about her.

Yes, I feel for the girl. She's only 25 and is already divorced with 2 kids. Hollywood can do that to you. I can't believe all the people jumping on the bashing bandwagon with her. She's not perfect and her every move is scrutinized. I don't think anyone here could hold up as well as she has tried. You only read what the media, gossip tabloids and papparazzi want you to read, so stop. Have you ever actually seen her do drugs, drink to excess, stay out all night, neglect her children? NO! Believe what you see, not what you hear. As for Sarah Silverman's cutting and hurtful remarks, they were low and so is she. I would never support her career in any way. She should hope nothing will ever happen to her, lest Hollywood bashes her. I wouldn't spend a cent on her show because of her lack of class. Lighten up on Britney. She is a human being that has been sheltered from a normal life. She needs guidance and direction from trusted family and friends. Dr. Phil?

I wanted to vomit when I saw the clip of her on stage. People that over weight should just do the world a favor and keep their clothes on unless the lights are off. What a sow.

Additionally I agree she is completely nuts.

She should be in a mental hospital not on stage right now. If she ever got her life together and grew up she might be decent singer. However the whole "I am 16 and I am a virgin" angle is not going to work for her again.

I think it is a good thing that it is happening the way it is so that all of these girls that looked up to her can see "oh wow being promiscuous C0CK tease doesn't get you anywhere in life".

PS - if people saying she is fat really bothers you that much, maybe you need to drop a pound or two.

Well, I don't really like her music not more, but I would NOT want to be in her spot right now. I think she should get some help so she won't be thought of as mental and crazy as she is now and she should be felling kinda embarssed if she attack that car for no reason at all, but if it was for a reason then that's different. I can understand why she shaved her head, because she probley didn't want her boyfriend or ex boyfriend Keven to drug test her, but she could have just locked the doors. I don't know why she put 1 colored eye contacted in and the other the normal color, maybe she just wanted to try something different. She should lay off them drugs at least a little bit cuz all that is doing to her is cutting her life shorter. I think she should get some help so she can be more incontroll of her actions more and maybe she'll get more fans scince she won't be thought of as crazy and mental as she is now and making CDs or shows or whatever and become more popular again.

Personally, I believe she has deserved as much as she has gotten at this moment. Do I feel sorry for her, in a way perhaps, but only as much as I would feel sorry for an animal being put to sleep.
No, Miss Spears has dug her own hole to wallow in. Like Parish Hilton and a great deal many other celebrities, Spears has forgotten that she would be nothing without her "fans". It is rediculous that the true heroes and hard working people of the world would feel remotely bad for her.
Her image is trashed by her recent advertures and it may be simply that which is the reason for people slamming her now. Maybe if she cleans up her act and finds her way back to some sense of deceny, maybe then I would "feel sorry" for her should something like this happen again.

I do feel bad too.I think shes been through a lot.Of course the public only sees all of the bad side.Id say she should stay out of the limelight but the reporters will find celebrities anyway.I agree that her perfomance was lacking, but I think she was scared too.She knew eyes would be all over her waiting for her to mess up.Now everyones talking about her weight, she cant catch a break. She looks good for having two kids.Im not saying It was cool for people to even comment on her weight but she had to know they would so maybe she should have chosen a different outfit.

I wish the media would just lay off.
The poor girl obviously has problems [medical conditions, depression, and legal issues] that she needs to work out, and can't while in the spotlight.
I think she would be doing a lot better if she could go to rehab without being mobbed and having it on the front of every magazine.
And her poor kids.
But really, I think she's doing the best a 25 year old star can do. She's just trying to be a good mom, but she's divorced her and her mom aren't on the best terms.
Give the girl a break.

The only reason I feel sorry for her is because she's not seeking the serious help she needs in getting her life straight.
Nobody wants to be made fun of or be kicked when they are down, but she has the financial resources to get help and good help for that matter.
So yes and no on feeling sorry for her.
The only reason people are saying she is fat is because she's not the tiny little, pre-baby self again and usually the industry wants "sexy" people not ones that are ok with showing a little tummy.

Wow.
After reading your question, I do actually realize that we've been treating her really badly.I already know that she's been through a lot and all, with the divorce and her kids, but this all wouldn't have happened if she would just act responsibly. and now her kids have to pay for it. And maybe if she just bounced back and acted like nothing was wrong, then people would idol her again, instead, she falls flat on her face and now everyone hates her. She just needs an attitude or moral adjustment. and then maybe she'll become the celebrity idol that teens once adored her for.

I think she's been surrounded for so long by people who created a bubble around her that she's still mentally a child. A child who gets paid to look sexy and sing about adult things. I feel some degree of pity for her, especially at the awards where moguls who knew she had no business performing put her up on stage to be a freakshow for everyone to stare at, but she's a grown adult now and felt mature enough to bring 2 kids into the world. At some point you have to grow up and stop being the victim of your circumstance.
