It doesn't matter who they are, what it is, or how you feel about it. If you don't wanna alk about your favorites, bash the ones you hate. I don't really care. Just give me your opinions, you have absolutely no restrictions here, I know you all want to say things about your music, because some of us are obsessive about it, so go right ahead.
I love metal. But I also love 60s pop songs, and such. I don't care much for the newer rock. I do love the classics. It kind of depends on the genre. I can't stand rap music to any degree. I listen to Christian music as well.
I kept mine short, I could ramble on forever, so if you feel the need to write a novel, do it.

I love rock. i also listen to pop, r & b and hip-hop. Muse is an awesome band, if you've not heard of them, you don't know what you're missing out on. of course, every fan will say this about their favourites, but i know better than to say, "fallout boy is the best! woohoo!!" coz they're not. Those people, they need to listen to more original music, instead of the generic crap that is on radio and mtv.
I also like Arctic Monkeys and The Mars Volta. i think British music is more original, and they've better music.
Can't stand rap and don't care for country.

I think one of the best groups that came out of the sixties was the Mamas and the Papas. Their harmonies were splendid and John Phillips wrote incredible Songs. I find that I appreciate this group more now than I did in 1965 when they first came out. Their music stands the test of time.

Yes is my favorite band. They are extremely talented and produced great memorable music.

I'm really getting into Chiodos and Escape the Fate. but i really adore Avenged Sevenfold and My Chemical Romance...
people can talk crap about MCR all day long but I hold them in a place near my heart.....[wow that sounded corny lol]
by the way pete wentz, hawthorne heights, and drop dead gorgeous can all jump off a cliff. =P

basically, good kinds of music are:
pop, heavy metal, nu-metal, death metal, gothic metal, black metal, and anything heavy and angry.
bad music:
rap, hip-hop, r&b, country, anything before 86, christian (cause there is no passion, there is only obediance.) and basically anything that says "i will love you forever"
