Your baby will come soon! With my first baby, I lost my mucus plug 2 weeks before he was born. You will know when your contractions are stronger and closer together. Just be patient and get some rest while you can! Your baby will be here before you know it! Good luck! =)

Well, I'd say go with their suggestion of the contractions being 5 mins apart, UNLESS your water breaks, in which case, you go right then.
Loosing your mucous plug can mean you'll go into labor within a few days, up to possibly 3 weeks from now. But it DOES mean you're pretty close.
I'd say if the contractions get more regular, closer together, and more intense, give your doc a call. And, don't hesitate to go straight to the hospital if your water breaks.
Sounds like it could be any day now, unfortunately, only time will tell exactly when!
Good luck, and congrats! You're gonna be a mommy soon!
YAY!

It could be anytime.. it could be 2 weeks after your due date. I know its hard not to be anxious but the baby will come when it's ready.

Everyone is different. You can feel contractions for a long time. Some people go very quickly others endure them longer.

Concentrate on making sure the babies room is prepared, Your bag is packed, Babies clothes cleaned. To help time pass along, Take walks. Talk to your baby. Read to your baby. Sing to your baby. He/She can hear you. Pray for your baby.

Do you have a name picked out?

Be patient. Before you know it your world will never be the same.

Blessings to you and yours.

you are already in the early stages of labor, the pains may stop for a while, but as you are loosing mucus already, your baby can come at anytime, when my daughter had her first, she had pains that occured at night only for several days before intense labor set in. go back to the hospital when contractions are 5 min apart. mild exercise like walking can help the progression of labor, but may be taxing. don't get too far from help, just in case. relax, get enough rest, you will need it in the days to come......congrats!

You can have this baby ANYTIME!!! A very good friend of mine just had her first baby... 2 MONTHS EARLY!!!

The little spud weighed less than 3 pounds! He is doing great right now, and the doctors say there shouldn't be any problems.

My point: You just never know when!

I would go to the hospital when you contractions are 3 mins apart, so you can be really sure you are in labor, make sure they last for an hour.

You will probably go in next week..... But you never know!!!

Good Luck!!!

I think you probably have a least a week (at most two) to go or so....

Hey, my birthday is Sept. 19th, maybe that'll be the lucky day!
