have your thyroid checked thoroughly. If your doctor does not want to do it, go to a different doctor. You could have an underactive thyroid which results in poor metabolism and low energy.

How do you think it would feel to carry around 75lbs of weights with you all day long? That is a lot of pounds to
carry. You do need to lose weight as diabetes is a big
factor in overweight people. And I am sure the energy would
be so much higher. I wish you good luck.
You might want to go to the Dr and have a routine check up.

I have the same problem.

Just think if you were carrying around something in your arms that weighed 75 lbs all day and night. It's terribly exhausting!

Definitely the weight, I know it is for me!

If you want to play it safe, see a dr. to make sure it's nothing else though.

since you didn't say your weight, your age and your height, I am unable to say if you need to lose or not.

If you're eating burgers, junk food, a lot of meat, lots of fattening foods like donuts, and sugary drinks...then stop that. You can easily lose 15 pounds or more just by cutting out the sugar even without exercising. And slow down on the drinking of liquid (you only need a couple of glasses of water a day, and there's liquid in other things you eat). Eating the above foods and too much of them at one sitting will definitely make you feel sluggish. Change to a vegetarian diet and take supplements and you'll feel great (although it will take several months for your body to adjust to that food change first).

Have you been to your doctor? you could have thyroid problems going on which makes you tired, or your sugar level is out of wack. I am over weight to, and am tired a lot do to not getting enough sleep. Are you sleeping? Are you eating the proper foods? if you eat to much sugar you have those highs but have big time lows when you bottom out.
Try going for walks it can help boost your energy level.

if youre overweight you could have or be at risk of having type two diabetes, also characterised by thirst, excessive urinating, and fatigue/tiredness. Lloyds pharmacy in UK will test you free of charge if the consider you in the "at risk" category. it could also be thyroid imbalance.
