It's getting a little stupid, especially since he left office with a 67% approval rating and presided over the largest economic expansion in U.S. history.

Sorry, Mckenzie. I think youe answers are a little naive. This is the party that said John McCain had a black baby, Max Cleland (look it up) was akin to Osama bin Laden, and have equated Democrats with terrorist sympathizers countless times. If you don't get it yet, here's your wake up call: Republicans hate your ideology and are out to destroy it. They have no regard for you.

What needs to happen before you fight back?

hahahahahaha never- they try to bash him to make Bush look better- maybe they'll stop when they get a better candidate for President :)

And for the guy above me.. what did Bush do with Bin Laden for 9-11- oh that's right.. Bush went to Iraq... Bin Laden is still out there... and the first one was pretty much a failure.. besides the few that did get killed and the thousand or so that were injured.. how many people died in 9-11- and the man is still FREE
Also I do believe the men responsible were captured and convicted

Bill Clinton is not the President. He is former President Clinton. Republicans, like Democrats, expose perceived flaws. Comedians, however effective or not funny, like Jay Leno, bash anyone who makes the news and oftentimes anyone within reach. Bashing is a form of behavior that is contemporary of all time. Like any emotion, it will not cease to exist.

The answer to your question is: Not for many years to come.

I am a Democrat who voted for President Clinton both times. But, in all fairness, he was not responsible (solely) for the great economy that he presided over.

He let Osama get away with bombing the World Trade Center and planning the second one. He didn't do his job on national security. Did he?

They're responding to the political bigotry being aimed at them and President Bush.

Instead of pointing out the political bigotry, some of them have joined in, just like many of my party have (Democratic).

They'll stop when enough of us speak up against our own, when we group together and DON'T tolerate political bigotry and playground tactics used against our representatives, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE FROM THE OPPOSING PARTY!

When we simply say, "Leave our President alone!" when talking about President Clinton, we deserve a non-answer.

When we speak up and say, "Leave our PRESIDENTS alone!" we show our patriotism, can still disagree, dissent, and protest policies and goals, but we don't become "Anti-Republicans" in the eyes of the public, and we keep our ethics secure (no one who calls people names, spreads unfounded rumors, or treats people as "guilty until proved innocent" is worthy of being called, "ethical" or "patriotic").

I defending my President, President Clinton, all through the attacks made on him. I did not defend him from questions, from inquiries, even from impeachment.

I defended him from unfounded rumors, name-calling, sedition, and being treated as "guilty until proved innocent".

HOW CAN I CALL MYSELF ETHICAL OR PATRIOTIC AND NOT DO THE SAME FOR PRESIDENT BUSH?

Even if I DO protest his policies and goals?

And not for him. NO. For ME!
