Rubbing alcohol should work. Nail polish remover should work, but you might want to check to see if you have any treatment to the lenses (for example, glare reduction, scratch reduction) plus, it's designed to desolve adhesives, so it damage the plastic, if they're plastic lenses. If so, call your eyeglass store to ask them or try to only use the remover on the spots that have the marker on them. Acetone (the active ingredient in nail polish remover) pretty much removes everything, plus every girl has some. If that doesn't work, try gasoline (be sure to rinse afterward). If that doesn't work try goop be gone (be sure to rinse the citric grease stuff off after).

Rubbing alcohol and cottonball don't rub to hard...
nail polish removal will leave a bad flim the acidtone in it might mess them up if they are plastic...

If I remember right, acetone will get it off if you react quick enough. I got mine from the navy 20 years ago, I don't know who carries it now? Maybe Walgreens?
