sqrt(225 / 980)
= sqrt(225) / sqrt(980)
= sqrt(3 * 3 * 5 * 5) / sqrt(2 * 2 * 5 * 7 * 7)
= (3 * 5) / (2 * 7 * sqrt(5))
= 15 / (14 * sqrt(5))

Hi,
Well, the simple answer is: .22959….
But I’m guessing that you want an exact answer. So, let’s do it like this:
√ (225/980)
= √((5*45)/(5*196)
=√(45/196) (Cancel out the 5s in numerator and denominator.)
=√( 9*5/14²)
= 3√5/14
Hope this helps.

depends if you mean sqrt(225/980) or sqrt(225)/980
the first one would be 15/sqrt980 or (15sqrt245)/2
the second one would be 15/980 or 3/196

have yourself a good day.
