mmm...This is a hard one.
Trying too hard, and getting little or no result would make me feel like I had wasted my time and energy, causing great frustration. On the other hand, not trying hard enough, and getting the same little or no result, would also cause frustration. I'd rather try harder than not try enough. I'd have to say that trying hard for something and getting no result, would be the biggest injustice. But, at least I'd know I tried.

I think it would be in trying too hard, at least for me, because usually it just ends up backfiring and then I end up looking like I didn't try enough.
