Could be a light somewhere is not shutting off because of a bad switch. Could be glove box, ( this one I have seen) could be dome, could be anything secondary that was added such as an amp, cd player etc. Just another thought insure the ground is clean, and the terminals and connections are clean, and tight as it could be it is not accepting a full charge.

One of the most common causes is durty and Grease on the battery. Power will actually drain across the top of the battery to the negative pole. Clean the battery (Baking soda & water) brush and rinse dry, check for corrosion and tight battery termaniles, good cable condition.

I had a buddy with the same problem, after lots of work it ended up being the heated mirors were get power all the time.

your alternator charges your battery. you have power constantly running somewhere for this to happen. you might have to take your truck to a garage to find out. sorry i couldnt help more. good luck

checked for damaged wiring that could be causing a short
circuit that would drain the battery.

You probably leaving something on. A dome light.Have you did any modifacations to your truck? Start there!!
