Eating foods high in potassium (banana, oranges, broccoli) will flush the sodium out of your system. Sodium tells the kidneys to retain water thus increasing the volume in your blood and causing high BP. Low sodium diets help. Beets also seem to help lower BP. Exercising and having lower cholesterol will allow the blood to flow through your vessels with less resistance which means more stable BP. Doctors may prescribe water pills to decrease your bloods volume and some people think tea and coffee which are also diuretics will help lower bp but since caffeine is a vasoconstrictor it will increase BP. Hope that helps.

Research has shown that following a healthy eating plan can both reduce the risk of developing high blood pressure and lower an already elevated blood pressure.
For an overall eating plan, consider the DASH eating plan. "DASH" stands for "Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension," a clinical study that tested the effects of nutrients in food on blood pressure. Study results indicated that elevated blood pressures were reduced by an eating plan that emphasizes fruits, vegetables, and lowfat dairy foods and is low in saturated fat, total fat, and cholesterol. The DASH eating plan includes whole grains, poultry, fish, and nuts and has reduced amounts of fats, red meats, sweets, and sugared beverages.
A second clinical study, called "DASH-Sodium," looked at the effect of a reduced dietary sodium intake on blood pressure as people followed either the DASH eating plan or a typical American diet. Results showed that reducing dietary sodium lowered blood pressure for both the DASH eating plan and the typical American diet. The biggest blood pressure-lowering benefits were for those eating the DASH eating plan at the lowest sodium level (1,500 milligrams per day).
The DASH-Sodium study shows the importance of lowering sodium intake whatever your diet. But for a true winning combination, follow the DASH eating plan and lower your intake of salt and sodium.

There is no one single Paleo Diet, as our ancestors from all over the world ate dramatically different diets depending on the climate where they lived, their landscape, accessibility to water bodies, and the latitude that they lived. This is a detailed meal plan for the paleo diet https://tr.im/kHZuO
In some cases, a Paleo Diet may be 90% plant foods and 10% animal foods, and in other cases, a Paleo Diet may be 90% animal foods and 10% plant foods.
For example, our ancestors that lived near the equator had year long access to more plant materials such as root vegetables and various fruits, veggies, and nuts.
On the other hand, our ancestors that lived at higher latitudes further away from the equator only had access to fruits and vegetables seasonally at one specific time period per year, and had larger periods of the year where they ate a higher % of meats, organ meats, fish, and other animal-based foods, or fermented foods that could be stored for winter.

Fish oil, garlic, hawthorn, coleus, Coenzyme Q10 and apple cider vinegar and plenty of exercise all help. The best remedy varies for different people and you may have to experiment. A combination of several remedies is probabably the best.
For further information try a Yahoo search for "high blood pressure" + "natural remedies".

Reduce your current stress. Your stress hormone cortisol is usually activated by extremely low-calorie weight loss plans, intense training, lack of sleep and day-to-day worries, which brings about a spike in glucose levels in your blood. More worryingly, it can bring about blocked arteries and fat develop around your internal organs, putting you prone to diabetes and heart disease. Really the only prescription for this is to… calm down.

Use the 20 minute rule. Eat your portion-controlled meal then, even if you think hungry afterwards, wait for 20 minutes to see if you still do. Nine times beyond 10, you won’t. If you are doing, eat 10 per cent more.

Always start your meal having a salad. It'll fill you upwards, making you eat less in the actual meal, and it's method fewer calories than typical deep-fried or maybe cheesy apps.
