Yes, indeed another user did post this and I thought it was quite interesting. What are your thoughts?

What exactly is "white"? Like, who came up with these classifications. I have never seen a "white" person before, although I have seen some pretty pale people. Aren't we more peachy coloured and tan coloured sometimes? Same with all the other races. Black? Um, no.

Excuse me people. I'm not racist. I'm white myself and I have a very diverse family. We have to know our faults and admit to them. We should apologize for our sins and only then can we progress as a society. I mean no disrespect to any race. This is a good healthy discussion so keep it clean.

Hahaha, you've got some wit there! I agree with you on several levels. I deffinitely think that Americans are malinformed about their history in order to promote patriosm and the devotion to the gouvernment; All goes down hill from THERE, I'm sure we all know.

I'm 13; I am therefore an insignificant, self-dwelling, and unintelligent being. There you ago. Another prejudice. I find them to be inescapable. It irks at me when "white people" look down at others. In a way, MANY white people do this without even knowing it. If a black person walks into a room wearing regular clothing and straightened out hair, you can see the shock on everyone's face; They're expecting to see a girl chewing bubblegum, glaring at everyone, bopping her head to some rap music. Why? Media. Conformity. Prejudice. Everything you've mentioned on your list.

I'm "half white", I guess you could say (half swedish, half persian...strange). But I think that prejudice comes to down to...everything, in the end. Age. Body type. SKIN type (I'd know-my skin is absolutely terrible). I'm sick of being judged my all of these, and the chances are that those who are judging are being judged themselves. It's a viscious cycle!

Pardon me for my inexcusable rambling on about nada. I couldn't help myself. Sorry. It's a topic to be dwelled upon, though. :).

Male Superiority Complex

2016-10-13 23:36:57 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

This is a srange question - but I think there are some people from every race that have this complex. I think bunching people up like you have as whole - is ignorant. But it always seem that it acceptable as long as the people everyone is bunching up are white .... if someone were to say do you think Black people are - such and such or Mexican , or Asian ... if someone were to do that and lable the entire race as something - then the person doing that is racist .....
But Bunch a whole bunch of White people together as a whole is okay ... no biggie .... I think it is all a bunch of crap.

People can drive around with Brown Pride stickers or Asian Pride or Samoan Pride - But let an average everyday run of the mill person - have a white pride sticker on their car .... and watch out - because everyone will be in an up roar.

I am white - and hispanic ... my best friend is half black ... my nieces are samoan my other best friend is vietnamese ...

And I just think grouping people together and labeling is foolish .........

I thought the Native Americans first discovered America.
Some white people may have a superiority complex but I don't.

no race is better, but long ago white people ruled, now everyone is meant to be equal but there is still racism even if there isnt meant to be, you can look at a hiphop video and say it is racist because there is never any white people in the video, I was watching TV and a black man said honkey but that wasnt frowned apon but if a white person says it (like in big brother) they get hassel. Life works both ways.

yeah, i have to admit, i do. it's a racial superiority complex and i don't know where i got it from b/c i dont think my parents instilled it within me or anything like that. i think maybe it was the result of growing up a minority- like some kind of defense mechanism? dont know.
