If you go to Film school, what happens after film school? What do you do?
Or what about other paths?

Ususally these days you are an actor first, but that isn't necessary. A good film school will teach you how to get the work you want. Be sure to ask if they do that before enrolling; if you choose not to go to film school, you try to get any kind of job as a production assistant on a film and work your way up as they like your contributions. The other thing you can do is to make independent films. Tough but with a great script you can find backers and good actors. It is another thing that film school should teach, how to make an independent film.

I feel there are schools for that, however should you wish to begin directing immediately take a look at browsing the web for a few unbiased film budget... Or write a script suggestion to a colossal director and desire that he's going to love it... Or simply shoot it along with your cellphone mobilephone and submit it on You Tube...
